Spratton Hall is situated at the edge of the village of Spratton, seven miles north of Northampton, surrounded by pleasant countryside. At present, there are 400 pupils in the school, 258 pupils in the Senior School (aged seven to thirteen) and 131 pupils in Pre-Preparatory Department plus a Nursery Department (three-year-olds). In the Senior School there are three forms in Years 3-8, with sixteen or seventeen pupils per form. From Year 3, pupils are placed in sets by ability for Maths and English, from Year 5 for French, and from Year 6 for Science. other subjects are taught in one of three streams.
Spratton Hall is fully co-educational, with roughly equal split between boys and girls. Most pupils leave the school aged thirteen and all proceed to their first choice of Senior School. the most popular destinations at present are Kimbolton, Oakham, Oundle, Rugby, Uppingham and Wellingborough. Over fifty pupils have won scholarships and Awards in the last five years.
Spratton Hall has a happy and supportive staff. There are at presents thirty-five members of staff, eleven Teaching/Support Assistants, and five administrative staff, including a Bursar. Spratton is a buoyant, thriving and happy school, with healthy waiting lists for the entry for the next two years, and beyond.
