Year 7
In Year 7 all pupils learn about three major topics.
These are:-
1) The Environment – This includes sustainable development with specific emphasis on the Peak District National Park. Due to this we have a four day fieldtrip to Edale in the centre of the National Park.
2) Globalisation – looking at the impact of multi-national companies on More and Less Economically Developed Countries with specific focus on Toyota and Nike.
3) Tectonics – where we study the causes and impacts of volcanic eruptions and earthquake activity around the world.
