Year 5
In Year 5 all pupils learn about three major topics.
These are Kenya, Water and the Environment.
All topics are covered in detail and during the Water topic we go on a fieldtrip to Corby sewage works to see and learn how sewage is turned back into safe, clean drinking water.
During the Environmental topic we visit a Wind Farm and have a three day fieldtrip to ‘Conkers’ in the National Forest.
Unfortunately, there is no field trip as yet to Kenya, but I am working on it.
