Rugby
Rugby is played in the Autumn Term in all year groups. All boys get the opportunity to represent the school in matches during the course of the season.
We have established an excellent reputation over the last few years, with highly successful teams at all ages, but particularly our 'A' teams and 1st XV. The 1st XV also undertakes a short tour each November, where we aim to test ourselves against elite opposition. Recent tours have included Dublin, Ireland and Yorkshire.
In the highly successful 2008-2009 season Spratton Hall won many tournaments and festivals including:
Under 9A won the Northamptonshire Grammar School Tournament.
Under 10A won the Bilton Grange Tournament and the Oakham Sevens.
Colts A won the Wellingborough Floodlit Tournament, Rugby School Sevens, NGS Sevens, Caldicott Sevens.
1st VII won the Northamptonshire Grammar School Sevens.
