House System
The House System at Spratton Hall is an integral and exciting part of school life. Every pupil is a member of one of the four houses: Drake (Blue), Frobisher (Yellow), Grenville (Green) or Raleigh (Red). House Assemblies are held on a weekly basis when pupils' achievements are celebrated.
A variety of house competitions takes place throughout the academic year. These include Pluses and Minuses, Art Christmas Collage, Drama, spelling, quizzes, Verse Speaking and the Music and Sport competitions in which every pupil represents their house. The competition culminates in the presentation of the House Cup on Speech Day.
Badges representing their house are worn by all pupils and, additionally, a boy and girl from Year 8 are selected as House Captains. The Heads of Houses and House Captains are:
Drake: Miss Powell/Isabel F & Freddie T
Frobisher: Mrs Williams/Isobel P & Luke M
Grenville: Mr Seguin/Freddie M & Rebecca S
Raleigh: Mrs Scherrer/Annie W & Ben V L
