Charity Work

One of our key functions as a school is to raise awareness amongst our children, and seeing people and children less fortunate than ourselves is important in keeping a sense of perspective.

We take our charitable work very seriously. Indeed, last year we raised over £13,000 for the following charities:

Rainbows Hospices, Water Aid, Helen Kennedy Foundation, Wooden Spoon, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Life Path, Scope, Daisy Chains, Royal British Legion, Oxfam, Barnados, World Vision, the Children's Society and Northampton Hope Centre.

Pupils in Year 8 play a full part in selecting which charities the school supports and they are responsible for the organisation of all our charity events and appeals. Recently, the school has enjoyed Cake Sales, sponsored Cross Country runs, selling food for Santa's reindeer, raffles, quizzes, parent & pupil golf evening, Home Clothes Days - including a day when each year group wore a colour of the rainbow for Rainbows Hospices.
