EYFS Lost Child Policy

Procedure for child care during movement on site:

The children are supervised at all times.  Children are counted in and out of the building or playground after every activity.

In the event of a child being unaccounted for the Teaching assistant will stay with the remainder of the group while the Class Teacher checks the immediate area (toilets, play house, cupboards, playground corners etc). If the child is still unaccounted for the children should be returned to their class room and the Head of Department informed immediately.
