Pre-Prep Assembly (RB) - The Chinese New Year (12.2.10)

Categories: News

‘Kung Hay Fat Choi’ – a traditional Chinese New Year greeting set the scene for our assembly to welcome the Year of the Tiger. An enormous Chinese dragon then made its entrance, twisting and turning as the children held it above their heads and beamed below! They then used their biggest voices to name the twelve animals associated with the Chinese New Year calendar. The children then treated the audience to a display of Chinese foods, clothing and artefacts and even gave a demonstration on how to use chopsticks without losing their noodles!
