The Art Department consists of two studios: fine art and 3D ceramics. These facilities are undergoing new and exciting developments. There will be improved ICT provision, additional studio easels making the studios light and well equipped.

There is opportunity for pupils to display their work throughout the school as well as exhibiting regularly at young peoples exhibitions. This year we are showing 2 Christmas Tryptch panels at the annual Stowe Prep Art Exhibition at Stowe School and locally in Spratton Church. The panels were based on Renaissance iconography.

The emphasis of the teaching is on Fine Art: the disciplines covered are drawing, painting, 3D/ceramics, textiles and printmaking. Currently Year 5 are working with acrylic paint on canvas.
